The Naija Spirit: Books, Movies and Songs 15 Terrific Nigerians enjoyed this Year!

On this episode of the Naija Spirit, I’m celebrating books, songs and movies. I asked 15 Nigerians what books, songs and movies they enjoyed last year (2018). It’s a hard question, I know, to slim your favourites to one but well, these were the responses.

My favourite book this year has to be “The mimic men” by V.S Naipaul. It’s a book on alienation in cities.
My favourite songsare many but the one I really like was Pretty Little Fears by 6lack and Jcole
Movie: I don’t think I saw any movies this year though that I liked, but I enjoyed one man/woman shows on Netflix. My faves were Nanette by Hannah Gadsby and also Rodney King.


Book: The Immortal life of Henrietta Lacks
Movie: Game of thrones
Song: he doesn’t really listen to music but he’s obsessed with Demons by Imagine dragons
